Position description / Job description

  • Provide individualized academic support to students with autism and Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs).
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Guide students towards academic success through mentoring and individualized instruction.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.
  • Utilize educational technologies to enhance learning and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.


Expectations / Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You possess a passion for student success and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • You are proficient in utilizing educational technologies.
  • You have a relevant educational background (preferred, but not essential).
  • You are willing to complete the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules (support provided).
  • Experience working with students with autism or SPLDs is desirable but not essential.
