Job description

We are recruiting for dynamic and motivated Band 5 Nurses to join our Specialist Medicine department at the Royal London Hospital.

Specialist Medicine Ward (13D) is a busy ward within the specialist medicine division specialising in acute medicine, haematology, endocrinology and metabolic medicine.

There is a multidisciplinary approach to care on our ward, where you would be expected to be able to problem solve independently and work collaboratively as part of a wider team. There is scope for professional development through the role of link nurse and the potential to develop leadership and critical care skills with support from the Practice Development Nurse. We also offer the opportunity to attain a CPPD in diabetic care from City University.

You should possess excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering safe and compassionate care. We welcome new ideas and strive to constantly improve our delivery of care to patients.

Newly qualified nurses seeking acute medical experience are welcome to apply as well as more experienced nurses wishing to consolidate previous experience and contribute positively to our nursing establishment.
