BNY Mellon in Manchester is seeking a Specialist II, Complaints to join our UK Transfer Agency team. You will investigate and resolve client complaints, own resolution including final responses and arranging compensation where appropriate.

You will ensure work complies with regulatory requirements (CASS, COLL, COBS, DISP, GDPR, Consumer Duty) and escalate high-priority issues. The role welcomes a blend of education and experience, with a bachelor’s degree beneficial, and a willingness to develop

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree may be beneficial but not required.
  • Experience in a financial services operational area and/or oversight handling preferred.
  • Willingness to develop personal skills in AI/Digital Tools preferred.

Job Description

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist II, Complaints to join our UK Transfer Agency team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Investigate and resolve complaints received for our clients, attempting early resolution of the complaint where appropriate
  • Own resolution of the complaint, including drafting the final response and arranging compensation where appropriate
  • Ensure all work is processed in line with clients’ regulatory requirements including CASS, COLL, COBS, DISP, GDPR and Consumer Duty as applicable

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the responsibilities of the role. A bachelor's degree may be beneficial, but not necessarily required.
  • Experience in a financial services operational area and/or oversight handling preferred.
  • Willingness to develop personal skills in AI/Digital Tools preferred.
