Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic dentist to join our team in Barnsley to provide clinical leadership in Special Care dentistry and a Specialist referral service for adults with special care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in Special Care dentistry and contribute to the development of a Specialist referral service for adults with special care needs.
• Work alongside the Consultant and Specialist in Special Care Dentistry based in Rotherham and Doncaster in developing the adult special care provision within the whole service.
• Deliver care including treatment under inhalation and IV sedation, as well as general anaesthesia where appropriate.

• GDC registered and eligible for a performer number.
• GDC Specialist list in Special Care Dentistry or eligible for CCST within 6 months of interview date.
