Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a compassionate Specialist Grade psychiatrist for their Thanet Mental Health team. The team is comprised of two parts: Mental Health Together (MHT) and Mental Health Together Plus (MHT+). Both MHT and MHT+ are divided into pathways and streams. As a prescriber, you will support and screen requests to see patients from both parts of the team. You will work alongside a dedicated team of professionals, access ongoing professional development, and enjoy a fulfilling career with opportunities for growth. The post holder must be Section 12(2) MHA approved and an Approved Clinician. If not already approved, you will work towards this status with a development plan supported by your line manager.
Applicants must have completed a minimum of 12 years of medical work since obtaining a primary medical qualification, with at least six years in a relevant specialty at the Specialty Doctor or closed SAS grades. Equivalent experience from other medical grades, including overseas, will also be considered.
