Job description

This is an exciting, newly created post within the Crawley Assessment and Treatment service. We are looking for a Specialist Grade (Psychiatry) to join the medical team. The post holder will provide senior medical input to the team.

Main duties of the job
  • Assess patients, conduct risk assessments, and formulate treatment plans.
  • Be available to the MDT for consultation and serve as a senior medical resource alongside consultants.
  • Assist in supervision and teaching of junior medical colleagues.
  • Participate in weekly CPD sessions and benefit from our supervisory structure, including regular job planning, review, and evaluation.
  • Engage in service improvement initiatives and research collaborations, such as the hearing voices clinic and HDAT audit.
