The NHS is seeking a GMC registered doctor to join the Breast Imaging Department at The Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust. This role involves key tasks like interpreting mammograms and conducting clinical assessments for symptomatic patients. The successful candidate will contribute to a dedicated breast unit focusing on both screening and treating breast disease, while also participating in continuous improvement and education within a collaborative team.
This is a post to work as a member of the Breast Imaging Department at The Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust, rated as Outstanding by the CQC.
This post forms part of a sustained development plan in Breast imaging to meet rising demand. The successful candidate will join a cohesive breast imaging team in a dedicated breast unit for symptomatic and screening services based at our Mermaid Centre - an outpatient unit dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
The successful candidate will be a GMC registered doctor and will have completed the RCR/ NBIA breast clinician training program with credentialling or demonstrate equivalent post graduate breast imaging qualifications along with relevant breast imaging experience.
