Do you have an interest in Gastroenterology? Could you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving the health of people in Tayside?

We are seeking a dietitian to work as part of the Tayside Dietetic Team to provide a clinical service in secondary care for patients referred to the gastroenterology service within the Ninewells Hospital Team.

The post holder will be expected to work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams, take a pro‑active approach in clinical care of patients and be involved in developing and implementing standards of best practice.

Excellent working relationships exist with dietetic colleagues throughout NHS Tayside via the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service and the Tayside Nutrition Network to develop and implement evidence‑based practice, receive peer support and help to progress Continuous Professional Development. There is also a commitment to training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals.

Excellent inter‑personal and communication skills and the ability to demonstrate good team working as well as being able to work autonomously are required.

You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Hours of work are: 37.0 per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am – 5pm. This post is available as a job share and part time hours will be considered.
