An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician to join our continually developing service. The successful candidate should demonstrate independent management of a caseload, providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy for Adults with a Learning Disability in a forensic inpatient setting. Key skills include excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills.
This role supports the clinical delivery of MDT treatment goals, as well as the rehabilitation and risk management of adults with learning disabilities and offending behavior.
Service delivery is based on the Model of Human Occupation and adheres to relevant legislation and evidence. The post involves working collaboratively with service users and partner agencies to enable personal outcomes.
The successful candidate will deliver clinical supervision and support the development, management, and safe operation of the Learning Disability Occupational Therapy Service.
