Specialist Doctor in Medical/Clinical Oncology- Breast Cancers

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Specialist Doctor in Oncology with a focus on Breast Cancers at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at Weston Park Cancer Centre, with outreach clinics within the SYBND cancer alliance.

Applications from both Medical and Clinical Oncologists are welcome. This role is based at Weston Park Cancer Centre and includes participation in our outreach breast oncology clinics.

Part-time candidates will be considered, with job modifications discussed on an individual basis in consultation with the Trust and Clinical Director.

Main duties of the job

The appointee will work alongside Consultant colleagues to provide cancer services across the trust, with a primary focus on Breast Cancer. The successful candidate will adhere to the Terms and Conditions of Service for Specialist (England) 2021, as amended.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from a recognized UK or international institution
• MRCP or equivalent
• Full GMC registration and license to practice
• At least 12 years of full-time medical experience, with 6 in a relevant specialty at Specialty Doctor or equivalent
• MD, PhD, or equivalent Fellowship
• Oncology Specialty Certificate for medical oncology
• FRCR or equivalent for Clinical Oncology
