An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 individuals to join the South East London (SEL) Dietetic Prescribing Support Service as Band 6 Prescribing Support Dietitians (PSD). One role is a 10-month fixed-term maternity cover, and the other is a 6-month fixed-term secondment until January 2026.
We seek motivated self-starters who can engage and influence stakeholders, analyze data, and demonstrate excellent clinical dietetics skills. This role is ideal for those looking to broaden their skillset, contribute to service development, and build a diverse professional experience.
The service, commissioned by SEL ICS, provides dietetic prescribing support across Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Bexley, and Bromley. The team includes a Principal Prescribing Support Dietitian, Senior and Specialist PSDs, and support staff, serving adult and paediatric patients to improve nutritional care pathways and support community healthcare teams.
You will join a large, dynamic dietetics department of over 120 staff working across multiple hospitals and community services, collaborating with leading clinicians and researchers at King’s College London and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
