Are you a dietitian keen to expand your clinical experience in paediatrics? Do you have a passion for improving patient outcomes through the best nutritional care?
We are looking for a forward-thinking and enthusiastic dietitian to join our established team of paediatric dietitians, based at Nottingham Children’s Hospital at NUH. You will become an integral member of our supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred dietetic care.
You will manage a varied inpatient and outpatient general paediatric caseload (0-19 years), including children with allergies, faltering growth, and those requiring nutrition support. Previous paediatric dietetic experience is desirable but not essential.
You will be a core and valued member of the multidisciplinary team, which includes consultants, other allied health professionals, specialist nurses, and social workers, providing high-quality evidence-based care.
You will be responsible for supervising, training, and supporting students and junior team members.
The successful candidate will handle a busy caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings, providing specialist care to infants and children in collaboration with their families and the wider MDT.
The Nottingham Children's Hospital (NCH), based at the Queens Medical Centre campus and part of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH), provides care for children up to 19 years old.
The Children’s Therapy team at NCH is a friendly and supportive department, working closely with the wider MDT to deliver excellent evidence-based care and innovative practices.
