Job summary

NHS Professionals is recruiting a Specialist Diagnostic Radiographer to join the X-Ray Department at Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) and City Hospital in Nottingham.

You will deliver high-quality diagnostic radiography services across multiple sites, supporting imaging in the Emergency Department, fracture clinics, GP and outpatient services, inpatient wards, fluoroscopy, paediatrics, operating theatres, and mobile radiography.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Radiographer.
• ВRelev ant Diagnostic Radiography degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in Plain Film Radiography.
• Experience in theatre and mobile radiography.
• Experience in intraoperative screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day workflow within the allocated area and prioritise examinations.
• Maintain accurate records using electronic and manual systems with data protection compliance.
• Uphold professional standards and foster a respectful environment for patients and staff.
• Monitor equipment, report safety concerns, and escalate risks as required.
• Contribute to audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support workforce development through induction and continuing professional development.
