Join Boxed as a Specialist Delivery Manager - POS Lending

Responsible for the delivery of Point of Sale (PoS) Lending, a key product line.

In this role, you will:

• Align scope with delivery capacity, ensuring optimal team performance without over or under-committing.
• Own the PoS Lending product plan, contribute to the master plan, and manage dependencies, tracking progress and mitigating risks.
• Report progress transparently at all organizational levels, in line with the Delivery Director's requirements.
• Apply technical expertise and industry best practices in PoS Lending to influence cross-functional teams during product design and delivery.
• Support Product Managers with business cases to prioritize high-value work and deploy resources effectively.
• Collaborate across functions during discovery, design, delivery, launch, and in-life phases of PoS Lending.
• Ensure business readiness across all relevant functions and suppliers.
• Document product plans and specifications clearly for internal and client sharing.
• Track and report delivery progress against milestones, ensuring clarity across the business.
• Identify risks, manage mitigation strategies, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Work with Engineering to ensure proper testing and high product quality standards.

• Strong industry knowledge of PoS or ePoS finance systems, including retail payments, financing options (e.g., in-store, e-financing, installment plans, BNPL), compliance, and vendor integrations.
• Experience in successfully launching products in this domain, coordinating across multiple teams.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, tools like Jira & Confluence.
• Ability to lead delivery governance and agile ceremonies with rigor and clarity.
• Experience managing RAID logs independently.
• Contribute to evolving delivery practices and improve ways of working.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, white-labelled front-end applications, system integrations, and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in creating and managing delivery plans, ensuring successful completion and reporting to the Delivery Director.
