Join to apply for the Specialist, Cyber, Data & Privacy role at Pinsent Masons

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join our Cyber, Data & Privacy specialist team within MLS. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, or Manchester.

Role Overview

Vario, a market-leading alternative legal services provider within Pinsent Masons, incorporates Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role supports our MLS team, reporting to a Delivery Manager, and involves supporting our legal teams with complex technical work and client activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting lawyers with complex technical work in Cyber, Data & Privacy
  • Leading small to medium projects and lower complexity matters
  • Supervising and quality checking junior colleagues' work
  • Mentoring team members and supporting their skill development
  • Assisting in developing new services and solutions in Cyber, Data & Privacy

Our standard working hours are 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility considered.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience with Cyber, Data & Privacy matters including DSARs, ROPAs, cyber breaches
  • Experience working in a large, commercial law firm
  • Understanding of service levels and technical capabilities required to support demand
