Specialist / Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine - Private Fertility Clinic – Central London – Up to £170,000 – Full Time

We are working with one of the UK’s leading Private Fertility Clinics, renowned for its innovation in Natural and Mild IVF. We are currently seeking a dynamic and ambitious Specialist or Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine to join their high-performing medical team.
This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of fertility care, contributing to groundbreaking treatment protocols and supporting patients through one of the most important journeys of their lives.

Role Objective
As a Specialist or Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine, you will be instrumental in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients undergoing fertility treatment. You’ll join a pioneering team and work within a structured and supportive clinical environment with a strong focus on patient satisfaction, safety, and success.

Specialist / Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine Key Responsibilities

Provide effective clinical management of patients in collaboration with fellow consultants.
Ensure the safe and effective care of all patients under your supervision.
Deliver high-quality patient care under pressure and during peak periods.
Participate in the on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
Conduct consultations, transvaginal ultrasound scans, egg collections, embryo transfers, and other relevant procedures independently, adhering to clinic protocols.
Contribute to a structured rota for efficient delivery of clinical services.
Maintain high success rates and minimise clinical complications by auditing personal clinical practices regularly.
Support the growth strategy of the clinic with commitment and innovation.
Work as a team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
Attend clinical and internal meetings and ensure follow-up of key action points.
Participate in research, training, and audit programmes as part of continuous improvement.
Attend clinical and research meetings to stay abreast of latest developments.
Report directly to the Medical Director and follow their clinical guidance.
Prioritise patient satisfaction, safety, and success in all aspects of care.
Show flexibility with working hours and clinic schedules.
Ensure full compliance with HFEA and all relevant regulatory bodies.
Represent the clinic at Open Evenings and patient-facing events as required.
Specialist / Consultant in IVF and Reproductive Medicine Qualifications & Experience

Full GMC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
MRCOG or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
Proven competence in transvaginal scanning and IVF-related procedures.
Relevant experience at Specialist or Consultant level in IVF and Reproductive Medicine.
Governance & Professional Expectations

Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement of clinical care across clinic sites.
Participate actively in incident reporting, risk management, and governance meetings.
Engage in annual appraisals conducted by the Medical Director or designated consultant.
Comply fully with GMC revalidation processes, including mandatory appraisals and performance tracking.
Participate in and lead audit projects, particularly those aligned with your clinical interests.
