Job summary

Exclusive Education is seeking an experienced additional needs teacher to join a secondary school in Fazackerly, Liverpool, starting September on a full-time, long-term basis. You will work with students with complex needs within a dedicated SEN environment.

The role requires QTS and a proven track record with children, along with DBS clearance and references. The school values safeguarding, quality and ongoing professional support from Exclusive Education.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children
• Previous experience of working as a Complex Needs Teacher
• Previous primary teaching experience
• Have experience in working with children with Complex Needs
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
• Hold a current DBS that’s child and adult check and is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Responsibilities

• Teach complex needs students in a secondary setting.
• Work within a school catering for a variety of complex needs.
• Support safeguarding and provide high-quality teaching in a SEN environment.
