Job summary

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a PMLD teacher to work in a school catering for a variety of complex secondary needs in Fazackerley. The role will start in September working full time and long term.

To be considered you must have QTS and be eligible to work in the UK, plus experience with children and complex needs, and provide two references from the last two years. A current DBS with child/adult checks or willingness to apply is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS (PGCE, B.Ed. or BA Hons).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience with children, including complex needs.
• Two references covering the last 2 years.
• Current DBS for child/adult workforce or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils in a Specialist Centre for PMLD in a complex needs secondary setting.
• Work with an experienced education team focused on safeguarding and included in school links.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children
• Previous experience of working as a Complex Needs Teacher
• Previous primary teaching experience
• Have experience in working with children with Complex Needs
• Two references working with children covering the last 2 years
• Hold a current DBS that’s child and adult check and is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
