We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a general nurse to join our clinically led alcohol provision within Derby Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service.
Derby Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service is a partnership service that provides an integrated health service for Derby City residents who identify a substance misuse related need. Our approach embeds the notion of health, well-being, and recovery.
The post holders will be part of Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust's Substance Misuse Team (Derby City) offering alcohol interventions to service user who have an identified alcohol support need.
The post holders will work with service users who have a range of complex health issues alongside their substance misuse need; the post holder will work in a trauma informed way.
The successful candidate will carry a case load, supporting service users with an alcohol support need where there are additional physical health and mental health support requirements. The successful candidate will also provide outreach work and liaise with primary and secondary care to assess and plan treatment interventions where indicated.
