Join a leading community health service as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) in Salisbury. This role focuses on improving health outcomes for children through effective public health initiatives and collaboration with schools. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (specialist school nurse) who will work within Wiltshire Children’s Community Services to lead and deliver a high quality, pro-active service for children and the 5-19 Healthy Child Programme.
This an extremely rewarding role with the aim to reduce health inequalities, to safeguard children and improve outcomes for children within the service.
This role will require some coverage of Trowbridge and Chippenham with the main base being in Salisbury. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Your base in Salisbury is located close to the picturesque historical landmark Stonehenge and has multiple local eateries close by making it a convenient base location. If wellness and exercise are important to your daily routine, there is a choice of local gyms nearby.
