A community health service organization in Salisbury is seeking a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) to lead public health initiatives within Wiltshire Childrens Community Services. The candidate will manage health assessments, foster partnerships with schools, and promote children's wellbeing. Applicants must be registered nurses and have excellent communication skills. This role offers a Band 6 salary ranging from £37,338 to £44,962, along with diverse employee benefits.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (specialist school nurse) who will work within Wiltshire Childrens Community Services to lead and deliver a high quality, pro-active service for children and the 5-19 Healthy Child Programme.
This an extremely rewarding role with the aim to reduce health inequalities, to safeguard children and improve outcomes for children within the service.
This role will require some coverage of Trowbridge and Chippenham with the main base being in Salisbury. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Your base in Salisbury is located close to the picturesque historical landmark Stonehenge and has multiple local eateries close by making it a convenient base location. If wellness and exercise are important to your daily routine, there is a choice of local gyms nearby.
