A regional healthcare provider in Sheffield is looking for a Specialist Community Forensic Team Recovery Worker. This role involves supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses and forensic backgrounds, engaging them in their care plans, and working collaboratively within a specialist team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and preferably hold an NVQ Level 3 in care. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a bespoke community team working with service users with a mental health diagnosis and forensic backgrounds.
The post holder will work with people under the care of the Specialist Community Forensic Team. You will provide support to individuals within secure hospitals & in the community setting. You will be able to build excellent therapeutic relationships with individuals working to enhance their discharge pathway.
You will be working with a team with a recovery focus to encourage the development of independence. You will be part of an intensive specialist multidisciplinary team and contribute to risk management under civil and forensic sections of the Mental Health Act ( 1983).
We are a small multi disciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational therapist and Senior Recovery Worker.
