Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Cardiology Pharmacist to join Frimley Park Hospital. This Band 7 clinical role focuses on advanced clinical care, leadership, and service development within the cardiology pharmacy service.

You will work with Lead Pharmacists, clinicians, nursing staff and managers to optimise medicines use, conduct medicines reconciliation, drug reviews, discharge counselling, and contribute to governance, education, and CPD.

Qualifications

• Experience as a hospital-based clinical pharmacist.
• Band 7 level clinical leadership and service development.
• Strong collaboration with clinicians, nursing staff and managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services in the specialist area.
• Medicines reconciliation and pharmaceutical care planning.
• Drug therapy review and discharge counselling.
