Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Frimley Park Hospital. Our Band 7 roles are designed to equip pharmacists with advanced clinical, leadership, and management skills to progress to senior roles.

You will work with Lead Pharmacists, clinicians, nursing staff and managers to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensure the safe, effective use of medicines across the Trust, including medicines reconciliation, care

Qualifications

MPharm degree (4 years) and registered with GPhC.
Within 12 months of completing Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Develop and provide high-quality clinical pharmacy service in the specialist area.
Collaborate with clinicians and nursing staff to optimise medicines use and patient outcomes.
Medicines reconciliation, care planning, drug therapy review, discharge counselling, and ward rounds participation.
Develop and implement clinical protocols in line with Trust formulary and policies.
Support clinical governance activities, audits, and service improvement projects.
Deliver education and training to pharmacy, medical, and nursing staff; CPD; rotas including on-call weekends and bank holidays.
