Join us as a Specialist Business Support Officer at Wirral Council

We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill multiple Specialist Business Support Officer vacancies across Childrens and Adult Social Care, working within the Business Support Hub. Please refer to the attached Job Descriptions for detailed information.

About the Role: As a Specialist Business Support Officer, you will be the primary point of contact via telephone, liaising with professionals, outside agencies, and the public. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, including the ability to handle challenging situations.

Responsibilities include: Supporting service operations through high-level administrative and operational support, handling complex and sensitive information related to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Candidate Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in minute-taking, resilience, compassion, and strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. You should be organized, discreet, and capable of prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
