We are seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist with experience in Biochemistry; Band 5 candidates with relevant experience may also apply.
The Biochemistry Directorate operates across four sites, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including the largest fully automated Roche tracking system in Europe. The department offers advanced analytical techniques such as Mass Spectrometry, HPLC, RIA, ELISA, and manual assays. The post holder will provide scientific services to support clinical diagnosis, participate in a 24/7 rota, and perform complex analytical procedures in line with ISO 15189 standards. Candidates should have post-registration Biochemistry experience and IBMS specialist portfolio or equivalent.
