A leading healthcare provider in Leicester is seeking a State Registered Biomedical Scientist to join their team. The role involves examining and reporting on pathological samples while ensuring quality and safety standards. Applicants must be HCPC registered and possess an IBMS Specialist Portfolio. The position supports a 24/7 service and requires participation in routine laboratory work across multiple sites.

The post holder will be a member of the departmental team, assisting in delivering a quality, cost-effective, patient-focused service aligned with the Trust's objectives. They will provide professional services in accordance with their qualifications and standards.
The main responsibilities include examining pathological samples using various technologies and reporting or presenting results, including bacteriology, virology, and molecular sections of the laboratory.
