Qualifications

Essential criteria

Completed Accredited BSc in Biomedical Science

Registration with HCPC.

IBMS specialist portfolio or equivalent post graduate knowledge e.g. competency based evidence of specialist techniques

Desirable criteria

MSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent area of specialty

Experience

Essential criteria

Demonstrable experience of working in routine haematology

Demonstrable experience of working in antenatal screening / haemoglobinopathies

Experience of working in a UKAS ISO 15189 and MHRA approved laboratory

Desirable criteria

Experience of working with Tosoh G11
