Job summary

OFG Education, part of Outcomes First Group, is recruiting a Level 1-3 Teaching Assistant for Bestwood Village School in Nottingham. You will support teachers, implement policies, and create an autism-friendly learning environment to help pupils access the curriculum.

The role requires previous TA experience, commitment to safeguarding, teamwork with care and multidisciplinary staff, and a willingness to develop professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous TA experience required.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and support staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high standards.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
• Positive, resilient and collaborative approach.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality education and care.
• Provide individual and group support to access curriculum and develop independence.
• Assist with planning, risk assessments and documentation (IEPs, BSPs).
• Help manage challenging behaviour with consistent strategies.
• Prepare teaching resources and manage classroom organisation.
• Collaborate with multi-professional teams and maintain strong communication.
• Support morning routines and personal care as needed.
• Ensure safeguarding and maintain records and participate in training.
