This is a health board wide position but the successful candidate will be primarily based in the county of Ceredigion. The role work will focus on both adult and paediatric diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology.

This is a health board wide position but the successful candidate will be primarily based in the county of Ceredigion. The role work will focus on both adult and paediatric diagnostic and rehabilitative Audiology.

Main duties of the job
The Specialist Practitioner in Audiology will provide adult and paediatric specialist assessment and rehabilitation within Clinical Audiology services. This will involve leading individual care planning and delivery as an Independent Practitioner.
Additionally, the Specialist Practitioner will lead specific areas of scientific activity, as allocated by more senior colleagues. This will include contribution to service development activity, audit, research and delivery of in-house continuing professional development activity and interagency work.
The specialist practitioner will contribute to the training and supervision of more junior colleagues and trainees.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
