Job Description:

Flexible Location: Based throughout Scotland, NES is a remote friendly employer supporting office and hybrid working. We’re happy to discuss your preferred working arrangements.

Work Pattern: Fixed Term, Full Time, 37 hours per week

Fixed-term or Secondment: Until 31/03/2026

The Opportunity

To support the NES Strategy 2023-2026 and contribute to the Scottish Government’s Digital Health and Care Strategy and Data Strategy, NES is seeking a skilled Assurance Officer to provide information assurance support to our NDP programme.

This role involves ensuring the programme's compliance and assurance obligations are met, supporting the delivery of a secure and transparent data infrastructure.

Candidate Profile
  • Experience in implementing and evaluating business processes from an information assurance perspective.
  • Understanding of legislation affecting information assurance.
  • Knowledge of Information Governance and Data Protection is advantageous.
  • Effective communicator, able to simplify complex technical information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate and build professional networks.
  • Honest, compassionate, tactful, and persuasive when dealing with others.
  • Self-organized, able to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
