Job summary

National Star is seeking a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join a dedicated team based at Ullenwood, near Cheltenham. The role involves delivering assessments, planning and evaluating therapy for learners with complex communication needs, working closely with Student Technology, OT, PT, Education, Nursing and Residential teams.

You will contribute to ongoing, evidence-based practice, supporting AAC interventions and liaising with NHS AAC hubs and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists degree level qualification.
• Membership of The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of therapy programmes for learners with complex communication needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders (NHS AAC hubs, AAC manufacturers).
• Travel to Worcester, South Wales and Hereford sites as required.
