A leading performing arts organization located in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to manage the Automation department for the 2025 season. Responsibilities include overseeing automation systems, ensuring health and safety compliance, and collaborating with production teams. This full-time, fixed-term position is based at the Barbican Theatre, offering a unique opportunity to work on exciting theatre productions.
Can you take the lead role in managing the automation requirements of a new show? Do you have a good working knowledge of setting up and operation of electrical and electronic systems? Can you use Foys Flying and Tait Navigator? Are you available to support at the Barbican between the end of September 2025 until the 19 January 2026?
We are looking for an experienced Automation Technician to be the senior member of the Automation Department to manage the 2025 season of Wendy and Peter and Twelfth Night at the Barbican Theatre.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 3 months which is based at the Barbican, London.
