Specialised English Teacher (QTS) – Full time – Plymouth

GSL Education Plymouth are actively searching for a dynamic Specialised English Teacher (QTS) to bring energy and innovation to SEN schools across Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Position: Specialised English Teacher (UK QTS is mandatory)
Salary Range: £120-£180 per day
Location: Plymouth
Start Date: At least Sept 1st term – possibly until Christmas

Essential Requirements: Will be required to interview in person over the next few weeks. KS3+4 English teaching experience

Other information: SEN experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Utilise your expertise to create personalised learning plans for students with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with educational psychologists and speech therapists to develop comprehensive support strategies.
• Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive environment where students feel valued and supported.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods and resources to meet individual needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an English Teacher.
• Possess knowledge of various disabilities and effective support strategies.
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is required.
• Preference given to candidates with prior experience and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
• Enjoy a daily rate of £120-£180 as a Specialised English Teacher (QTS), reflecting your qualifications and experience.
