Band 6: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, pro rata if part-time
Hours: Full time and part time posts available (Minimum 22.5 hours/week contracts)
The Therapy team at MKUH is looking for two enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapists to join our Children’s Physiotherapy Team.
The posts are also available as development roles to facilitate progression from band 5 to band 6 through an intensive period of development and support.
Candidates should have completed some post-registration clinical practice and gained core experiential learning in areas such as respiratory medicine, critical care, respiratory on-call working, acute medicine, or older people's medicine.
Appointed clinicians will initially work in a vacant band 6 position but remain in a band 5 tier during their development program. Movement to band 6 will occur once competencies are met, typically within 4-8 months depending on experience and progress.

Accountable for all aspects of own work, ensuring high standards of clinical care, including assessment and management of complex cases.
Maintain CPD, stay updated with new trends, and incorporate them into practice. Provide teaching and support to junior staff and students.
Supervise and coordinate junior staff, students, and assistants, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
