Specialised Cardiac Physiologist, Sutton

This role is based at Spire St Anthony's Hospital in Sutton, UK, and involves invasive cardiology procedures, including electrophysiology (EP) and cardiac rhythm management. The successful candidate will work as part of a skilled team supporting complex procedures, device clinics, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

1. Perform advanced clinical arrhythmia procedures focusing on cardiac devices and electrophysiology.
2. Support complex EP and device implantation procedures in collaboration with cardiologists and the cath lab team.
3. Conduct device clinics within the outpatient setting.
4. Contribute to service improvement and development, utilizing your non-invasive cardiac procedure skills.

Candidate Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.
• Immediate Life Support certification.
• IBHRE/BHRS certification in Devices and working towards or holding EP certification.
• Registration with the RCCP.
• Experience in invasive cardiology procedures within a cath lab setting.
• Proficiency in non-invasive procedures like ECG and Holter monitoring, with solo experience in device management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
