Contract Hours: 33.08 per week, term time only plus 5 inset days (195 days in total)

Closing Date: 9th April 2025 at 12 noon

We are looking to strengthen our existing team of support staff by appointing an enthusiastic, ambitious, and highly effective support assistant. You will join a dedicated team of staff at this popular all-age school for pupils with complex needs, including those with profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and those with multi-sensory impairments.

We are looking for someone who is willing to take a full and active role in the life of the school and be part of a hardworking and committed team. The post holder will be expected to work anywhere throughout the age and needs range of the school, supporting learning and assisting in the general care and welfare of pupils. This includes assisting students with their personal care.

The successful candidate will have the experience and/or the ability to support children with additional learning needs to make appropriate progress relevant to their individual targets. You will have the ability to form positive relationships with children and families, focused on individual learning needs. You will work under the direction of the class leads.
