Job summary

Pond Meadow School in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our committed, friendly team on a full-time, term-time basis.

You will support pupils with ASD and learning needs, with induction and ongoing CPD, and training provided. Enhanced DBS clearance is required; the school offers LGPS pension and employee well-being services. The post is 31 hours per week, paid on PS3 scale, with monthly payment and a focus on safeguarding and high-quality education.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
• Induction and CPD opportunities are provided.
• Experience in Special Needs/ASD is helpful but not essential; training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in lessons under the supervision of teaching staff.
• Assist with managing activities and pupil learning, promoting a positive environment.
• Support behaviour management and safeguarding as part of the school team.
