Job description

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are currently working with a well-regarded special school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a dedicated Special School Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school environment that caters to pupils with a range of complex needs, including those with Cognition and Learning designations.

The school provides education for children aged 4 to 16, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). With a strong emphasis on independence, wellbeing, and individual progress, this setting offers a truly rewarding experience for the right candidate.

About the Role:
As a Special School Support Assistant, you will support teaching and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher. The role will involve working across various age groups and supporting pupils in both academic and personal development.
