Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting two Band 5 Special School Nurses to work across the city-wide Special School Nursing Service. One post is 30 hours per week and one is 35 hours per week term-time only.

The role involves assessments, delivering specialist nursing care in a school setting and safeguarding in line with local policies. You will support education staff, advise parents and pupils, and move between bases across the city while providing high quality

Qualifications

• Essential: RSCN or RN Child Branch or RNLD; Evidence of CPD.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
• Provide hands-on clinical care and safeguarding in line with policies.
• Support education staff, advise parents and pupils, and act as a role model for the team.
