We are seeking motivated and dynamic Band 6 Community Nurse to join the Specialist Children’s Community Nursing Team in providing excellent quality nursing care for children with Complex Needs attending Special School in Waltham Forest.
The Specialist Children’s Community Nursing team comprises four nursing teams – Child Development Nursing, Special School Nursing, Paediatric Continence, and Children’s Community Nursing team. The aim is to provide an excellent standard of nursing care to enable children to achieve their best possible outcomes.
The post holder will utilise a range of skills and experience gained in clinical practice to provide holistic assessments for children who have complex needs. Clinical judgement will aid the post holder to formulate a care plan based on these assessments. The post holder will also demonstrate excellent time management skills to enable them to work autonomously at times.
The role will require the successful candidate to work as part of the team based at Wood Street Health Centre and at Specialist Educational Premises, but will also have the opportunity to undertake home visits as part of the role.
