A leading company in the UK defense sector is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee customer orders and project deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Project Management along with at least two years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing project finances and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This role may require occasional travel within the UK and overseas.
Business Need / Purpose of Role:
Daily management of all aspects of customer orders including cost/risk awareness, internal & external communications, and effective document control.

Education and/or Experience:
HNC / Degree in Engineering or Business/Project Management discipline and/or minimum of two years experience of project management and / or customer management
Language Skills:
Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
Reasoning Ability:
Excellent reasoning, communication and influencing skills.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of computer packages such as Word and Excel.
SAP knowledge preferable
Physical Demand:
Ability and willingness to work in extended teams, represent the function with internal and external stakeholders.
Work Environment:
Office environment.
Must be willing to travel on business in the UK and overseas as required.
