Job description

Special Projects

London (Shoreditch) | In person | Full time

About Seamflow

We're removing one of the last great barriers to progress in the physical world. While software moves fast, industries like healthcare, aerospace, and energy are still slowed by outdated, manual systems.

Our vision is to unlock enormous value for Testing, Inspection, and Certification companies globally. The market is vast, the problem is real, and we're just getting started.

We're rapidly growing following our 14x oversubscribed seed round backed by Tier 1 investors including Northzone and Initialized Capital. These funds backed the founders of Coinbase, Reddit, Klarna, and Spotify.

We're growing very fast; demand is outstripping our supply, and we're building fast to keep up.

The Team

Our team includes AI researchers from world-leading academic institutions like Johns Hopkins, MIPT, Oxford, Cambridge and UCL, former founding engineers at unicorn startups, and alumni of X, Google, Amazon, and Yandex, alongside former leaders from McKinsey, BCG and Bain. We look for people who move fast, think clearly, and hold themselves to a high bar. The standard here is very high, and we're looking for someone who raises it further.

The Role

Special Projects sits directly alongside the CEO and Chief of Staff and takes on whatever the company needs most at that moment. There is no fixed remit and there is no playbook.

One month that means preparing the material and the numbers behind a fundraise. The next it's working through legal, regulatory, and market access questions in a country we're entering, or holding an entire function open on your own until we've hired someone permanent into it. Whatever is broken, missing, or unowned lands here first.

Be clear eyed about what this is. It is demanding, and a lot of it is unglamorous. Some of it is detail work that simply has to be right, with nobody available to check it behind you. What we need is a workhorse who is obsessive about detail, who closes things out rather than hands them back, and whose work nobody ever has to second guess. If that reads as a description of you rather than a warning, this is the highest leverage seat in the company for someone early in their career. You will be in the room for decisions most people see five years later.

What We're Looking For

1-3 years in an environment with a high bar and short feedback loops: investment banking, strategy consulting, a fast growing startup, or something equally demanding we haven't thought of.

An exceptional track record: We care that you were at the top of whatever room you were in, academically and professionally.

AI-native: You already run your work through AI and operate at 10x as a result. You reach for these tools by default, not as a novelty, and you're constantly finding new ways to compress what used to take days into hours.

Structured thinking: You break messy, ambiguous problems into parts, work out what actually matters, and sequence it. You can explain your reasoning on a whiteboard in two minutes.

Ruthless organisation: Multiple workstreams, nothing dropped, nothing chased twice, everything written down.

Strong with Excel, slides, and written communication: Most of our work travels as documents and models read by executives at large regulated businesses.

Bias to action: You'd rather ship a good plan today than a perfect one next week.

Work nobody has to check: You close the loop, catch your own mistakes, and flag the things you couldn't resolve rather than leaving them to be discovered.

Low ego, high agency: The work ranges from a board memo to cleaning a customer data set at 9pm. Neither is beneath you, and you'll take on the boring half as readily as the interesting half.

Someone who wants to be in the room, not on a call. This role is in-person, full time at our Shoreditch office.

Nice to have: European languages, particularly German or French.

What You'll Get

A huge amount of responsibility and trust from day one, and direct exposure to every decision that shapes the company

A front row seat to enterprise sales, product, fundraising, and operations, and a real say in all of them

A clear path into an operating or commercial leadership role as we scale or insight into how to start your own tech company some day

A team that moves fast, works hard, and backs each other fully

Lunch and dinner covered, 24/7 gym access
