Special Projects London (Shoreditch) | In person | Full time
We're removing one of the last great barriers to progress in the physical world. While software moves fast, industries like healthcare, aerospace, and energy are still slowed by outdated, manual systems. Our vision is to unlock enormous value for Testing, Inspection, and Certification companies globally. The market is vast, the problem is real, and we're just getting started. We're rapidly growing following our 14x oversubscribed seed round backed by Tier 1 investors including Northzone and Initialized Capital. These funds backed the founders of Coinbase, Reddit, Klarna, and Spotify. We're growing very fast; demand is outstripping our supply, and we're building fast to keep up.
Our team includes AI researchers from world-leading academic institutions like Johns Hopkins, MIPT, Oxford, Cambridge and UCL, former founding engineers at unicorn startups, and alumni of X, Google, Amazon, and Yandex, alongside former leaders from McKinsey, BCG and Bain. We look for people who move fast, think clearly, and hold themselves to a high bar. The standard here is very high, and we're looking for someone who raises it further.
Special Projects sits directly alongside the CEO and Chief of Staff and takes on whatever the company needs most at that moment. There is no fixed remit and there is no playbook. One month that means preparing the material and the numbers behind a fundraise. The next it's working through legal, regulatory, and market access questions in a country we're entering, or holding an entire function open on your own until we've hired someone permanent into it. Whatever is broken, missing, or unowned lands here first. Be clear eyed about what this is. It is demanding, and a lot of it is unglamorous. Some of it is detail work that simply has to be right, with nobody available to check it behind you. What we need is a workhorse who is obsessive about detail, who closes things out rather than hands them back, and whose work nobody ever has to second guess. If that reads as a description of you rather than a warning, this is the highest leverage seat in the company for someone early in their career. You will be in the room for decisions most people see five years later.
