Vision for Education is seeking a Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant in Hull, supporting pupils with learning needs in special education settings. The role offers opportunities to gain valuable experience and may become permanent after a qualifying period.

You will build positive relationships with pupils, implement strategies to improve learning, and work alongside teachers to support students with SEHM/learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Have a warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Either have completed, or be working towards a qualification in Psychology.
• Be willing to work in special needs school settings.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and pupils as a Teaching Assistant.
• Use psychology knowledge to support learning and engagement.
• Develop strategies to overcome barriers to learning and raise attainment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils to aid inclusive education.
