Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. in Walthamstow is seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support students with SEND in both full-time and part-time roles. You will work in SEND schools, assisting across Autism, PMLD, and SEMH with adaptable, caring approaches.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS and two references; schedules run 8:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, across the full academic year. This is a hands-on support role for dedicated and professional individuals.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate required; help obtaining if needed.
• Two references covering the past two years.
• Availability for full-time and/or part-time contracts (8:30–16:00).

Responsibilities

• Assist students with SEND in daily learning activities and routines.
• Support across autism, PMLD and SEMH with adaptable approaches.
• Collaborate with teachers and care staff to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
