Working Hours: 08:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Overview:

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex needs? Do you have experience with strategies like Now and Next and providing 1:1 support, including personal care? If yes, we invite you to join a supportive school in Birmingham to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with ASC and complex needs, facilitating full participation in lessons and activities.
  • Implement Now and Next strategies to provide structure and routine.
  • Support with personal care needs, maintaining dignity and comfort.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENDCO to implement individualized plans.
  • Support positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Encourage independence and confidence through praise and reinforcement.
  • Monitor progress and well-being, contributing to education plans.
  • Create an inclusive environment meeting academic, social, and emotional needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
