Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, Autism, or challenging behaviour (3+ months).
  • Calm, confident, and supportive approach.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

Special Needs Teaching Assistant (Behaviour) - SEND School - Salford

Start: ASAP | Pay: £95-105/day DoE (paid PAYE) | Hours: Full-time | Mon-Fri | 8:30am-3:30pm | Contract: Temp-to-Perm opportunity

Join a new SEND school in Salford supporting 11-16-year-olds with Autism and SEMH needs. This is a fresh, ambitious environment where every pupil gets personalised support, structure, and encouragement to overcome barriers to learning and build confidence, independence, and social skills.

We're looking for someone calm, patient, and resilient who can support pupils with challenging behaviour, help them stay engaged in learning, and model positive behaviour. You'll be part of a team dedicated to nurture, safety, and progress.
