Job description

Job Title: Teaching Assistants - Special School (SEN)

A Special school (SEN) catering to pupils with diverse needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism (ASD), and behavioural difficulties (EBD), is seeking Teaching Assistants to begin in September 2025 for long-term roles and daily supply positions.

Key Requirements:

1. Good knowledge and understanding of autism are desirable, given the high proportion of autistic children at the school.
2. Ability to work with challenging behaviours is beneficial.

Role Details:

The role is varied and requires flexibility to work with pupils aged 10-16 in both whole class settings and on a 1:1 basis with specific pupils.
