Are you a compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs?
We are working with welcoming and inclusive schools in the London Borough of Hillingdon, seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a pupil’s day-to-day school life, while working within a supportive environment.
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including those with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.
Helping deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in collaboration with the class teacher.
Implementing strategies outlined in EHCPs and behaviour support plans.
Providing consistent, nurturing support to help children feel safe and focused.
Supporting with personal care (where required) and promoting independence.
Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.
Calm, patient and proactive approach to learning support.
A genuine passion for inclusion and child development.
DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, SEN training, or psychology/education degrees are desirable but not essential.
A supportive consultant who understands the demands of SEND support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
